Septic System Installation done right in Lake Montezuma
We excavate and install to the approved design, set the tank and lines at the right fall, and backfill and grade so the system drains and the surface sheds water. We coordinate the inspection so the cover-up is signed off, not guessed at.
A conventional or alternative system installed to plan, inspected, and buried, with the lot graded back clean.

On a Lake Montezuma terrace the caliche shelf sits shallow and hard over basalt, so digging the tank and leach trenches means hitting rock sooner than you would guess, and we set the fall to keep the field off the low clay that holds water.
Lake Montezuma, sometimes called Rimrock, sits on Wet Beaver Creek in the Verde Valley near the old Montezuma Well, below the red rock rim. The lots include creek-side parcels down low and terraces up on the harder ground.
The ground is Verde Valley red clay and caliche over basalt and limestone, a stubborn mix that grabs a trencher and holds water where the clay runs. Beaver Creek and its side washes cut the low ground and move fast in monsoon season. Up on the terraces the caliche shelf sits shallow and hard, so pads and trenches meet rock sooner than you would guess.
Between reactive clay in the flats and shallow caliche on the terraces, a pad or a drive built without reading the ground will crack, heave, or wash. An owner here needs a licensed contractor who knows which soil they are standing on and grades for it.
